| Caye Caulker is the ideal place to both unwind and experience many of the treasures of Belize. Caye Caulker is 12 miles from the mainland, less than 1 mile from the Belize Barrier Reef, 15 miles from Turneffe Island atoll and 30 miles from the Blue Hole on Lighthouse Reef Atoll. This central location, coupled with a choice of multiple tour, water sports, and dive operators offer our guests many affordable options. |

The "Split" is the break between South and North Caye Caulker. It is an excellent place to get accustomed to the water or just hang out. Many different water creatures can be seen here without even going out to the reef!
Excellent scuba dive locations are close to Caye Caulker. You can do local dives on the reef less than 1 mile away or easily go out to Turneffe Islands or Lighthouse Reef and dive the Blue Hole. |
| The beach on the East side of Caye Caulker is all public access. It is a great place to experience the sun, sand, and the tropical breeze. The west side is mainly mangrove and a shelter and habitat for birds and marine life.  |
You can rent small boats and explore on your own.
